You can now watch Instagram Reels on Apple TV, because why not?

Instagram is making its way to yet another screen, and this time, Apple TV is getting a taste of the Reels rabbit hole. The company has launched a dedicated Instagram app for Apple TV, bringing Reels, longer videos, and live shows to the big screen. So, if watching one quick clip on a phone somehow turns into an hour of scrolling, there’s now a much larger screen for that.

Instagram brings Reels and more to Apple TV

The new app lets users watch videos from their favorite creators, discover new content, and resume watching across devices. Instagram is pitching the experience as something to enjoy with friends and family, rather than keeping everyone hunched over their own phones. The app appears to have launched on October 23, with its arrival spotted through Apple’s App Store listing.

The launch also expands Instagram’s push into the living room. The company first tested its TV app on Amazon Fire TV devices in December 2025, followed by Google TV in February 2026 and Samsung smart TVs in June. Those versions focused on Reels arranged into interest-based channels, with videos playing automatically. The Apple TV app also lists longer videos and live shows, reflecting Instagram’s broader ambitions beyond short clips.

How to watch Instagram on Apple TV

Getting started is straightforward: find Instagram in the Apple TV App Store and install it. The app requires tvOS 26.0 or later, so older software may need an update before the Reels marathon can begin.

Instagram’s arrival gives Apple TV owners another way to watch creator content without passing a phone around the sofa. Whether that’s a better way to enjoy funny clips together or simply a recipe for the entire household to lose an evening to the algorithm is another question. Either way, the TV is officially part of Instagram’s scrolling territory now.

Audio-Technica, a brand well known for making some of the best studio and professional headphones on the market, has just come out with the ATH-AWX7000, which the company itself claims to be its “finest headphones ever.” The new flagship closed-back headphone has debuted at an eye-watering price of $3,799. It combines hand-finished Japanese woodwork with a newly developed 58mm driver.

The earcups are made from Kiso cypress, a prized wood historically used for Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. Each housing is finished by hand with traditional Echizen lacquer, which brings out the grain and is expected to darken over time. The frame and sliders are finished in a deep navy kachi-iro shade traditionally associated with samurai.

YouTube is changing how its Home page works, giving viewers more control over what shows up there and making some of the app’s most-used sections easier to reach. Custom Feeds are now replacing the existing topic chips for eligible users, while YouTube is also testing a redesigned top bar on mobile that moves Subscriptions closer to the Home feed.

YouTube first started experimenting with Custom Feeds earlier this year, letting you type out what you wanted to watch and turning that request into its own stream of recommendations. Now, the feature is starting to look less like a side experiment and more like something YouTube actually wants people to use as part of their everyday Home page.
