You can now get a lifetime license for both Windows 11 Pro and Office 2024 Home & Business for one PC or Mac on sale for just $109.97 at StackSocial. Considering Microsoft normally prices Windows 11 Pro at $199 and Office 2024 Home & Business at $249 separately, this bundle is clearly aimed at people upgrading an older computer or setting up a new machine without adding another monthly subscription bill. The important distinction here is that this is not Microsoft 365—you’re buying the software outright, so there’s no recurring fee, but you also don’t get cloud storage or future major Office releases.

The Windows 11 Pro side of the package makes the most sense for people upgrading from an older Windows 10 machine or setting up a fresh PC build. Microsoft has cleaned up the interface (without completely reinventing it) and added several quality-of-life features, so daily tasks feel familiar but more polished. Features like Snap Layouts make multitasking easier, while voice typing and search tools are noticeably better than they were a few years ago. The Pro version also adds business-focused tools such as BitLocker encryption, Hyper-V virtualization, and Windows Sandbox, which casual users may never use but professionals and developers often appreciate. Microsoft’s Copilot AI tools are also built directly into Windows now. They can summarize webpages, generate writing suggestions, and help navigate settings, though the usefulness will depend on how much you actually want AI integrated into your workflow.

Office 2024 is probably the bigger draw for many people in this bundle. You get full desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote installed directly on your device, so they continue working offline without relying on browser-based apps. Excel now handles large spreadsheets more efficiently and includes AI-assisted analysis tools, while PowerPoint adds built-in voice and video recording for presentations. Outlook also received accessibility upgrades that help flag formatting or readability issues in emails. That said, this package is probably not the best fit for people deeply tied to cloud collaboration or shared Microsoft 365 family plans. But for buyers who primarily want permanent access to Microsoft’s core apps and Windows 11 Pro without an additional subscription, the pricing here is hard to ignore.
