After years of city living and renting, I finally bought a house. And, as any homeowner will tell you, buying a house means taking on a large, time-consuming, expensive responsibility. I plan to share that adventure over on our social media pages, but with a twist: You can expect home maintenance content, but I also want to make this the kind of house I wanted as a kid. You know, like when you visited your friend who lived in the coolest house in the neighborhood.
I have a long list of small projects I’ve been putting off, like fixing my running toilet or cleaning my garbage bins so bears and flies stop coming around; but I also have fun projects that I want to try out, like installing permanent outdoor lights, designing a reading nook, converting my garage into a home gym, and turning my basement into a home theater.
As I enter my influencer “like and subscribe” era, I invite you to follow along on our official Instagram, official YouTube, or my personal page. And if you want to browse any of the products I use to do the projects yourself, you can find an ongoing shopping list, organized by project, on one convenient page. I’m looking forward to the hard work…I think. I’ll see you here and on our social pages.
